The next generation’s trekking guide
Pree Cha is a very experienced tourist trekking guide who is a member of the local community. He was born in Mae Hong Son and later moved to Chiang Mai, where he obtained his tour guide license.
Due to trekking activities and tourism in Mae Hong Son tend to decrease in popularity. Pree Cha therefore decided to return to work at Skyline Jungle Luge in Chiang Mai from September 2023 onwards.
Hopefully, one day we will return.
His profile
He worked with Pooh Eco Trekking in Chiang Mai for 5 years before moving to Panda Tour Chiang Mai for 3 years after obtaining his tour guide license.
Following that, return to Pai and work for two years at Family Huts. Finally, he has made his home in Mae Hong Son, working as a subcontractor for our senior guide, Chan Nature Walks and as a freelance tour guide for us.
What are the highlights?
He offers a multiple-day trekking tour with a homestay in the San Fah mountain range to the east of Mae Hong Son.
Throughout the trek, you will pass through mountain jungles and hilltribe trails where they walk about their daily lives and work. The hilltribes here are mainly White Karen.
You will have the opportunity to view rice terrace fields, farms, plantations, and bamboo forests. Following the stream and crossing it several times. Have lunch en route near the stream.
